Circle House
By Christi Hoover Seidel
Welcome to the Circle House,
No sides to be on or to fear,
No corners to be hidden in,
Everyone is included here.
Come into the Circle House,
With curtainless windows that glean
Light from every angle,
And shadows can’t be seen.
Sit inside the Circle House,
Made from wood and stone,
A woven grass rug on the floor,
Gifts from Mother Earth alone.
Rest inside the Circle House,
Excepting everything you are,
Remembering love and hope exist,
In places near and far.
When you leave the Circle House,
Take a pebble in your hand,
Hold it tightly when you pray,
Then give it to a friend.
Heaven is a Circle House,
Seeking each and every one,
Believing in our differences,
Shining outward like the sun.
